Specific Role Responsibilities\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The Training Officer is responsible to facilitate internal training across all levels of employment. These responsibilities include to:
\n– Assist with scheduling of training interventions and venues
\n– Facilitate learning
\n– Research and implement methods to enhance teaching and learning on a continuous basis
\n– Perform relevant administrative duties
\n– Capture results on Learning Management System
\n– Guide and support learners to competence
\n– Adapt, update and develop training materials and assessments
\n– Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet learners\u2019 varying needs, abilities, and interests
\n– Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects and communicate said objectives to learners
\n– Prepare materials and classrooms for class activities
\n– Maintain accurate and complete learner records as required by legislation and company policies
\n– Compile training reports
\n– Conduct classes, workshops and demonstrations to teach principles, techniques, or methods
\n– Prepare and administer written, oral and performance assessments and issue results
\n– Observe and evaluate learners\u2019 work to determine progress and make suggestions for improvement<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Suitable applicants must meet the following (minimum) requirements:
\n– Tertiary qualification in Education\/Training or a relevant three-year degree with Education, Training and Development Practitioners (ETDP) qualification\/Teaching certificate or diploma
\n– Minimum two years\u2019 experience as a trainer\/teacher\/facilitator
\n– Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
\n– Good facilitation skills
\n– Have strong people skills including Human Resources (HR)\/Industrial Relations (IR)
\n– Deadline oriented<\/p>\n
Skills and Personal Attributes\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Recommended experience, knowledge and skills:
\n– Logistics and transport industry
\n– Warehousing
