Main Purpose
\nThe role will be the administrator of a large Microsoft SCCM infrastructure. Significant expertise in the distribution of packaged applications to workstation and server environments using SCCM is required.
\nThis role also includes managing a Citrix Farm. Must be able to provide support on various applications that are published in the farm.
\nBackup to the Snr. BT Utilities Administrator on managing and maintaining the environment and the BT Imaging administrators.
\nA+ (Comptia)
\nN+ (Comptia)
\nMicrosoft Certified Systems Engineer (qualified)<\/p>\n

Desired Qualification<\/p>\n

MCITP System Centre Configuration Management (SCCM) or System Management Server 2003 (SMS).<\/p>\n

Minimum Experience
\nMatric with MCSE or an equivalent and equivalent IT diploma;
\nA minimum of at least 2 years SMS\/SCCM working experience;
\nStrong maintenance and support of SMS or SCCM;
\nAt least 3 years working experience on desktop support;
\nAt least 3 years server administration experience required;
\nAt least 2 years Active Directory experience;
\nApplication packaging, testing and deployment;
\nThe ability to analyse statistical information and report on if required;
\nIncident and problem analysis, root cause analysis and resolution;
\nStrong working experience in Windows Installer, Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, Operations System Deployment, Windows PE, Altiris; Ghost and Imaging technologies;
\nWorking experience on Citrix Metaframe.<\/p>\n

Desired Experience
\n3 years working experience in a SMS \/SCCM;
\n1 year image creation and configurations management experience.<\/p>\n
