\nThis is a pivotal role as part of our Pure Systems in Africa strategy to dramatically grow our investments and skills base in line with market adoption of integrated hardware and software technologies. \nPureFlex Client Technical Architect are responsible for all pre sales and some post sales activities regarding IBM\u2019s Pureflex offerings to customers within a defined territory by:<\/p>\n
\nDelivers high quality solutions to clients in response to varying business requirements
\nStrong Understanding of business Architecture and Industry Pain points
\nThe Architect understands client needs, works in levels of abstraction, applies industry knowledge and insight
\nAchieving the assigned territory brand objectives (profit and revenue) by supporting the Pure Systems sales team
\nAt a senior level the position requires significant knowledge across multiple platforms and data center technologies
\nTechnical tasks including study, analysis, design, demonstrations, proof of concepts and proof of technologies
\nAbility to write compelling business case, presentations and proposals
\nUnderstand the competitive landscape and strengths and weaknesses of competitive technologies
\nDrives client and partner technical workshops as well as longer term studies to ensure a best fit for purpose solution
\nDrives and supports the IBM Pure ecosystem in country (Innovation Centers, ISV\/SI relationship development, business partner channels)
\nWorks to optimize ISV’s solutions on Pure technologies
\nWorks closely with the Pure Sales Leader to ensure technical resources are aligned to support the business plan
\nConfigures and Pure Systems solutions and build technical delivery plans with support from our partners in country
\nTight linkage with the services lines (IBM and partner) to ensure smooth delivery and implementation of solutions
\nSupports enablement plans and demand generation events
\nA level of technical leadership is expected to drive the local technical community around common goals.<\/p>\n
\nBachelor’s Degree<\/strong>
\nAt least 5 years experience in Understanding client needs, working in levels of abstraction, applying industry knowledge and insight
\nAt least 5 years experience in Achieving the assigned territory brand objectives (profit and revenue)
\nAt least 5 years experience in Significant knowledge across multiple platforms and datacenter technologies
\nAt least 5 years experience in Technical tasks including study, analysis, design, demonstrations, proof of concepts and proof of technologies
\nAt least 5 years experience in Understanding the competitive landscape and strengths and weaknesses of technologies
\nEnglish: Fluent<\/p>\n
