Chevron South Africa also has interests in a lubricant oil manufacturing plant in Durban and maintains a laboratory and blending plant there.<\/p>\n
Chevron is accepting online applications for the position of Blending and Shipping Trainer located in Milnerton, South Africa through August 4, 2013 at 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time).
\nPosition Details: \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n
Conducts technical \/ functional training:
\n– Unit specific training
\n– Support for fundamentals training
\n– Generic simulator training
\n– Console operator training
\n– 4 Senses training
\n– Continuous refresher training
\n– Any other relevant functional training
\n– Select appropriate assessment methods and conduct assessments for the progression through the series of placed jobs<\/p>\n
Administration:
\n– Plans, schedules, monitors, and tracks all Operations training
\n– Ensures up-to-date and accurate training record system for Operations in order to plan<\/p>\n
Schedules and administers COBRA assessments: (Development tool for Console Operators)<\/p>\n
Supports the Coordinator, Operations with any training-related activities as and when required, such as:
\n– Training needs analysis
\n– Development of training & assessment material
\n– Reviews training material
\n– Sourcing of training material
\n– Validates the quality of third party training material and providers<\/p>\n
Assignment location is Zone 3 of the Chevron Cape Town Refinery<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications:<\/p>\n
Matric Certificate or equivalent. Recognition for prior learning and other relevant qualifications will also be considered
\nAt least 5 years blending and shipping refinery operations experience and\/or DCS experience. Experience in both is preferred
\nEffective administrative skills
\nEffective training capabilities
\nStrong communication and writing skills<\/p>\n
