1. Regular Commission (Army\/Navy\/Air Force Career Officers)
\na. General Eligibility – Eligible applicant should:
\n(1) Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
\n(2) Be of good character.
\n(3) Be not less than 20 years and not more than 25 years by 30 May 2013 for Regular
\nCommission.
\n(4) Be medically fit by Ghana Armed Forces\u2019 standard.
\n(5) Be not bonded.
\n(6) Be not married.
\n(7) Be of minimum height of 1.68m (5\u2019 6\u201d) for males and 1.57m (5\u2019 2\u201d) for females.

\n(2) Supply Branch. A Degree from a recognized University or equivalent professional institution in the following:

\n(c) Chartered Institute of Purchasing & Supply (CIPS) \u2013 Final Part.
\n(3) Administration Branch. A Degree from a recognized University or equivalent professional institution in any of the following:

\n(4) Engineering Branch. A Degree from a recognized University in the following:

\n(d) Mechanical Engineering.
\n(e) Agricultural Engineering.
\n(f) Computer Engineering.
\n(g) Aerospace Engineering.
\n2. Rank on Commission. \u2013 Army, Navy and Air Force Regular candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenant, Sub-Lieutenant and Flying Officer respectively on successfully completing of their training at the Ghana Military Academy.<\/p>\n

3. Applicants should complete the Initial Data Form provided in their own handwriting and forward it together with photocopies of the supporting documents to the Director Manpower Planning, General Headquarters (Personnel Administration) Burma Camp, Accra.<\/p>\n
4. Applicants must clearly state in the space provided which Arms of Service, Type of Commission and the advertised Vacancy they are applying for eg. Army – Regular: Infantry, Navy – Regular: Executive, etc. Air Force, Regular: Supply Branch, etc.<\/p>\n
5. Applicants are to obtain EMS prepaid envelopes specially designed for the Enlistment Exercise from designated post offices throughout the country at a fee for Twenty-five Ghana Cedis (GH\u00a225,00) from Ghana Post Ltd Services.<\/p>\n
6. The Initial Data Form with supporting documents such as photocopies of Birth\/Baptismal Certificates, Educational\/Professional certificates, 4 recent passport photographs and the small size EMS envelope bearing the applicant\u2019s address are to be sealed in the large size EMS prepaid envelope and submitted to the same post office for special delivery to the Ghana Armed Forces General Headquarters, Burma Camp, Accra.<\/p>\n
