\nGrade 12 plus Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification .
\nComputer Literacy is essential.
\nMinimum of 2 years relevant experience in Finance environment as a Cashier or in the banking environment.
\nLocal Government exposure will be an advantage.<\/p>\n
\nKnowledge of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Act No. 56 of 2003 .
\nThorough knowledge of Microsoft Packages .
\nCompetent in the use of Excel spreadsheets .
\nThorough knowledge of cashier functions .
\nGood verbal and written communication skills .
\nAbility to produce accurate report in a timeous manner .
\nGood interpersonal relations.<\/p>\n
\nPerform cashiering duties.
\nIssuing of manual and electronic receipts to the customers .
\nReconciliation of day to day income .
\nBalance daily takings and complete internal control documentation .
\nSafe keeping of cash .
\nImplementation of internal controls and policy with regard to cash management.
\nLog incidents on the Incident Management System and ensure that they are followed through.<\/p>\n<\/h4>\n
