\nOverall coordination;
\nManagement and delivery in Actionaid South Africa of the multi-country funded project on Young Urban Women\u2019s Life choices and Livelihoods;
\nSupport project staff and partners to deliver on the objectives set out by the project;
\nBuild relationships with potential partners and develop a platform for regular information sharing, alliance building and advocacy with relevant stakeholders;
\nWork closely with the Women\u2019s rights coordinator, partner staff, and the international project manager to coordinate programming and advocacy opportunities both nationally and internationally.<\/p>\n
\nUniversity degree in women\u2019s rights\/gender studies or related field;
\nFour years experience in community development preferably in women rights, Sexual Reproductive and Health Rights (SRHR) and \/ or workers\u2019 rights \/ decent work;
\nDirect field experience of working with young women;
\nExperience of working for a nonprofit or government agency working on issues related to development and women\u2019s rights;
\nExperience of managing institutional donor-funded projects;
\nCross-cultural experience, understanding and sensitivity of gender issues;
\nKnowledge of policy issues related to women\u2019s rights, SRHR, and \/ or workers\u2019 rights\/decent work;
\nNetworking \/ relationship-building skills;
\nSkills in written and spoken English;
\nAbility to work effectively in a diverse team environment;
\nSelf-motivated person able to work without close supervision;
\nInterpersonal skills and adaptability.<\/p>\n
