\nKnowledge of revenue and expenditure related transactions and its impact on AFS

\nCalculation of VAT apportionment %s
\nPreparation of VAT apportionment correction journal entries at year end
\nMonitoring the submission of monthly PAYE and VAT returns
\nProvide advice to relevant parties on VAT and PAYE related issues as required
\nManage the resolution of all queries from SARS
\nAdvise relevant stakeholders of amendments to legislation before promulgation
\nAssist with the year-end regulatory and internal audits
\nAssist with tax audits carried out by Tax Authorities including the SARS
\nAssist with the review and updating of tax systems, procedures and policies
\nRaise awareness of tax issues and effectively communicate tax issues to management
\nGuide the implementation of envisaged Regulation on the Standard Chart of Account (SCOA)
\nAssist( support role) with the compilation of the annual \ufb01nancial statements
\nAdjustment of processes and systems to align to relevant National and Provincial Treasury Circulars
\nAssist with the maintenance of the general ledger and votes structures
\nAttend to complex structural accounting matters
\nAssist with audit queries
\nCompile operational manuals for crucial areas of concern
