DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: <\/strong> FTT’s staff complement is small and, as such, the Marketing Projects Intern may, from time to time, be required to assist with other projects and\/or of\ufb01ce management duties. \nProject manage Indaba, including logistical arrangements, stakeholder\u00a0 communications, and budgeting
\nAssist with keeping all social media platforms updated with relevant, topical\u00a0 information
\nAssist with search for new social media platforms\/forums
\nAssist with maintenance of FTT website
\nAssist with market research (e.g. surveys)
\nAssist with monitoring and evaluation reporting
\nAssist with logistics\/administration of marketing department; and
\nManage front desk.<\/p>\n
\nMinimum Grade 12 education
\nTertiary quali\ufb01cation in tourism with a minimum of 65% in major subjects; and
\nLess than one year formal work experience<\/p>\n
\nBasic understanding of Fair Trade and sustainable development
\nFluent in English (good written and verbal communications skills)
\nAble to plan and undertake administrative work with supervision
\nAble to gather and manage data
\nGood interpersonal skills
\nFlexible and able to adapt to a changing environment; and
\nPro\ufb01cient in Microsoft software applications.<\/p>\n
\nInterested in current debates concerning tourism and sustainable development
\nPassionate about Fair Trade
\nSelf-motivated and able to work under pressure whether independently or as part of a team; and
\nAble to manage many tasks simultaneously<\/p>\n
