{"id":13575,"date":"2013-08-16T01:29:20","date_gmt":"2013-08-15T23:29:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=13575"},"modified":"2013-10-17T02:04:12","modified_gmt":"2013-10-17T00:04:12","slug":"mintek-finance-internships","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/mintek-finance-internships.html","title":{"rendered":"Mintek: Finance Internship Recruitment"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Mintek: Finance Internship Job Opportunities<\/h2>\n<p>Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified persons for appointment to the position of Finance Intern<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To gain valuable working experience in the Finance Division and other operational areas at Mintek<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ACCOUNTS PAYABLE<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process supplier invoices accurately and timeously.<\/li>\n<li>Perform supplier reconciliations for inclusion in the payment pack.<\/li>\n<li>Compile payment pack with accurate documentation and present to cheque signatories for sign-off.<\/li>\n<li>Resolve reconciliation items and queries from suppliers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Account Receivable<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Allocate payments accurately to different customers.<\/li>\n<li>Follow up on long outstanding payments from customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Other<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Gain an understanding for financial policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Rotate within Finance and Supply chain sections to understand business processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Job Knowledge \/ Skills Required<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BCom degree.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and accurately.<\/li>\n<li>Good group participation and good communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested employees who comply with the above-mentioned requirements may forward their applications to <a href=\"mailto:cv6@mintek.co.za\">cv6@mintek.co.za<\/a> in Human Resources.<\/p>\n<p>Should you not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date of this advertisement, please accept that your application was not successful.
