{"id":14055,"date":"2013-09-04T11:50:00","date_gmt":"2013-09-04T09:50:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=14055"},"modified":"2016-11-10T14:55:56","modified_gmt":"2016-11-10T12:55:56","slug":"call-center-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/call-center-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Call Center Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Name: Manager: Call Centre<\/p>\n<p>Education: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree (3yrs) \/ Advanced Diploma<br \/>\nLocation: Assupol Life Head Office &#8211; Pretoria, GT ZA (Primary)<br \/>\nCategory: Sales<br \/>\nEffective Date of Appointment: 1\/10\/2013<br \/>\nJob Type: Permanent<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><br \/>\nTo lead and manage the Assupol Call Centre both tactically and strategically and provide direction and in doing so improve customer satisfaction and sales.<\/p>\n<p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure the smooth running of the Call Centre through the effective briefing and ongoing communication to Supervisors\/Team Leaders<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the quality of service to customers as determined by the QA Division ensuring that this is maintained throughout the duration of the customers&#8217; contact on line with the Assupol Life Call Centre.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure revenue and sales targets are driven and met.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement appropriate tactical and operational strategies to achieve strategic targets and stakeholder expectations and continuously meet the future needs of the Assupol Life Call Centre.<\/li>\n<li>Review the industry and business environment on a continuous basis to identify, recommend and implement strategic opportunities, areas for synergy and alternative delivery approaches that presents improved profitability, increased value for money and improved service levels within Assupol Life.<\/li>\n<li>Implement and maintain performance metrics and statistics to ascertain the overall performance of the Call Centre and take corrective action where required.<\/li>\n<li>Embed Formal performance development and informal coaching to develop performance.<\/li>\n<li>Determine and analyse development needs and ensure that identified training requirements are budgeted for and executed.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain a succession plan for the team.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously review the achievement of the business unit against industry standards, norms, client expectations and stakeholder expectations, take corrective action and implement new ways of working.<\/li>\n<li>Engage internal stakeholders and the insurance industry to understand and align to strategic imperatives and changes<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the team understands the channel service priorities and subsequent demands on the Operational Area.
