This includes\u00a0 Warehouse, Apple Care, Workshop, and ZA Online Business Units.\u00a0Support the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the financial and commercial environment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Role responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div><strong>Warranty Repairs &amp; Reverse Logistics Processes:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Financial reporting and anslysis of Apple Care using the PPR program<\/li>\n<li>Matching of RMA\u2019s to credits received from Apple Inc<\/li>\n<li>Matching of credits provided to AASP to RMA\u2019s submitted to Apple<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and improvement of existing processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Financial Services:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Month end reporting \u2013 preparation of financial statements depicting trading results of responsible business units<\/li>\n<li>Key working capital parameters<\/li>\n<li>Inter company loan account reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Balance sheet reconciliations<\/li>\n<li>Budgeting and forecasting<\/li>\n<li>Variance reporting \u2013 actuals vs budgets<\/li>\n<li>Extended warranties &#8211; provision<\/li>\n<li>Insurance Claims \u2013 reporting and recording against threshold<\/li>\n<li>iCare plus program reporting<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Inventory &amp; Asset Managment:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Analysis of stock age analysis and stock movement solutions as required<\/li>\n<li>Analysing and reporting on cycle stock counts<\/li>\n<li>Attending, analysing and reporting on stock takes with discrepancies and solutions to rectify<\/li>\n<li>Review stock adjustments on a regular basis<\/li>\n<li>Consignment stock analysis<\/li>\n<li>Spares stock holding forecasting and procurement management<\/li>\n<li>Management of spares supply and reverse logistics into various African territories<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Statutory compliance:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compliance with IFRS standards<\/li>\n<li>VAT compliance<\/li>\n<li>Tax clearance<\/li>\n<li>Audit and review of SOP compliancy in repair centre<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Commercial\/ other:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Management of insurance claims and declarations<\/li>\n<li>Reporting of iCare plus extended warranty program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Human Resources:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Staff training and development<\/li>\n<li>Performance management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Creditors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Timeous preparation of Creditor Payments<\/li>\n<li>Review of all creditor reconciliations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Debtors &amp; Cash Control:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure debtors book of responsbile areas managed effectively<\/li>\n<li>Ensure bank reconciliations are doen daily<\/li>\n<li>Ensure debtore allocations are up to date<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><strong>Experience and qualifications required:<\/strong><\/div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>5-10 years practical experience in a financial accounting role in a warehouse environment<\/li>\n<li>Operational involvement in the trading activities of the business<\/li>\n<li>Hands on approach and ability to\u00a0 be handle more than the financial areas of the operation<\/li>\n<li>Apple Care is a complex area of the business and requires a detailed understanding of warranty and reverse logistics processes<\/li>\n<li>Matric<\/li>\n<li>Minimum- Tertiary qualification in Accounting<\/li>\n<li>BCom Accounts is preferred<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.core.co.za\/core_forms\/job_applications\/add\/job:32\">Click on this link to apply online<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are looking for a Warehouse Financial Manager\/ Controller to be responsible for financial activities of the Distribution Centre of the business.
