This opportunity is also offered to those unemployed graduates and postgraduates who are interested in research management; research support and administration at public higher education institutions and research agencies through a partnership with the Southern African Research &amp; Innovation Management Association (SARIMA). Applications are invited from candidates in the following areas of specialisation or disciplines and who are willing to be placed in the stipulated Administration<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Only university graduates with Bachelor\u2019s, Honours, BTech, MTech or Master\u2019s degrees may apply. People holding a National Diploma, DTech and PhD need not apply.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><br \/>\nInterns will receive a monthly salary ranging between R5 771.70 and R 7 695.60 per month, depending on the level of qualification.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is Eligible to Apply?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Unemployed South African university graduates and postgraduates in the Science, Engineering, and Technology (SET) Research and Development fields are eligible.<\/p>\n<p>Non-South Africans need not apply.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants should not be older than 35 years at the time of submission of application.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates with disabilities are encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Placement<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Successful applicants will be placed in various institutions throughout the country and should thus apply for a position available in the province where they would like to be placed<\/p>\n<p>The NRF does not pay relocation costs to appointed candidates who need to relocate to another Province<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The internship programme is offered for a period of 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates will be required to sign an internship contract for the duration of the internship period.<\/p>\n<p>Successful candidates will start their internship on 1 April 2014.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nrfsubmission.nrf.ac.za\/\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Online<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Please also scan in and attach certified copies of qualifications, academic record and SA ID.
