The position Incumbent will report to the Head of Financial Management.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in preparation of Annual Financial Statements and Consolidated Group Annual Financial Statements<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that Annual Financial Statements and Group AFS comply with IFRS and any other relevant legislation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all internal subsidiaries financial statements are timeously prepared and comply with IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the following sections within Financial Management:<\/li>\n<li>Invoice Management, Travel Management and the Accounting for Money Market and Foreign Loans<\/li>\n<li>Understand fully the functioning of the SAP system and experience in CaseWare Working Papers would be an advantage;<\/li>\n<li>Enhance usage of the systems, continuously ensure that systems operate efficiently and effectively;<\/li>\n<li>Review and identify any weakness in the current processes, systems and procedures and make enhancements to these;<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with both internal and external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparation of the following financial reports<\/li>\n<li>\n<ul>\n<li>Monthly variance analysis<\/li>\n<li>Quarterly reports to EXCO and the Board<\/li>\n<li>Annual Consolidated Financial Statements<\/li>\n<li>Interim Consolidated Financial Statements<\/li>\n<li>Perform ad-hoc tasks for Head of Department and other departments<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Client Care \u2013 provide good standard of customer service internal and external clients. Exceed customer expectations<\/li>\n<li>Perform management functions including: Team spirit, communication ,discipline, training and development<\/li>\n<li>Supporting and driving Innovation in the team<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring that Annual Financial Statements and Group AFS comply with IFRS and any other relevant legislation<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all internal subsidiaries financial statements are timeously prepared and comply with IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Assist in preparation of Annual Financial Statements and Consolidated Group Annual Financial Statements<\/li>\n<li>Industry standards, technology trends and best practices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong> Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CA(SA)<\/li>\n<li>3 or more years post articles experience in a financial reporting role, people and performance management<\/li>\n<li>Post graduate qualification in finance (e.g. MBA, MBL or CFA).<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office, SAP, CaseWare Working Papers, IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Experience in analysing and interpretation of financial statements<\/li>\n<li>Should have excellent financial modelling skills.<\/li>\n<li>Understand fully the functioning of the SAP system, enhance usage of the system and continuously ensure that systems operate efficiently and effective<\/li>\n<li>3 or more years post articles experience in a financial reporting role, exposure to the SAP environment, people and performance management and IFRS<\/li>\n<li>Experience in assessing credit risk and the economic viability of businesses and\/or projects.<\/li>\n<li>Update systems and procedures documents for approval by Systems and Procedures Committee<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Competences<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently and to perform under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Should have strong written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with both internal and external auditors<\/li>\n<li>Good negotiating and leadership skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to assist in preparation of monthly variance analysis reports, Quarterly reports to EXCO and the Board and Annual Consolidated FS<\/li>\n<li>Assist in budget planning and management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/idc.hua.hrsmart.com\/hr\/ats\/Posting\/view\/289\">Click on this link to apply online<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Job Title Manager: Financial Management<br \/>\nRequisition # 657<br \/>\nJob Type: Full-time<br \/>\nOrganizational Unit: Industrial Development Corporation Ltd -&gt; Finance and Funding -&gt; Financial Management<br \/>\nLocation Head Office &#8211; Sandton, GT ZA (Primary)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A permanent position exists within the Financial Management Unit for the Manager: Financial Management based at the Head Office in Sandton.
