Experience<\/strong> <\/p>\n Job Description <\/strong><\/p>\n The primary function of this position is to provide Operational Excellence (OpEx), Continuous Improvement Framework (CIF), Quality (EQS) and Environmental, health and safety (EHS) leadership to the site in support of the General Manager.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n \u2022 Ensures effective deployment and assessment of EBS tools and processes<\/p>\n \u2022 Integrates OpEx, EQS, CIF, ELSS and EHS with other functions <\/p>\n <\/p>\n CHARACTERISTICS<\/p>\n \u2022 Demonstrates managerial courage (e.g., managing varied interests representing potential conflicts) <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements) <\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Tertiary qualification in Engineering, and\/or Quality Relocation benefit provided? No <\/p>\n
\nLevel 3-5 years
\nTravel Required Up to 10 percent<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Establishes smart goals, provides analysis and reporting on performance metrics and develops appropriate actions to achieve the business objectives.
\n\u2022 Works in tandem with the Regional OpEx Manager on cross functional initiatives to drive business excellence in all functions and levels of the organisation.
\n\u2022 Carries out Internal and external benchmarking and interfacing with the Regional, Divisional and Group resources on EBS processes.
\nProvides guidance and support to functional peers<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Ability to manage, develop direct and indirect subordinates
\n\u2022 Acts as an agent of change, effective in enabling and driving change
\n\u2022 Delivers all communication with clarity, impact and passion, and tailored to the audience
\n\u2022 Has strong team-building and organizational skills
\n\u2022 Ability to lead and support cross-functional teams<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on Quality, Lean, EHS program management and Continuous improvement.
\n\u2022 A demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance and continuous improvement methods, approaches and tools, including strategic planning and project management
\n\u2022 Training in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, Eaton Business Excellence Criteria, Project Management, Quality Management System standards (i.e. ISO-9001, TS-16949, etc.),
\n\u2022 Certified Internal Quality Auditor an advantage
\n\u2022 Mature Interpersonal and Leadership Skills
\n\u2022 Customer contact experience
\n\u2022 Proficiency in local languages an advantage.<\/p>\n
