\nPosition Summary
\nTo provide civil engineering project and maintenance service to Sasol Business Units in Sasolburg.<\/p>\n

Required outputs: Functional<\/strong><\/p>\n

Operational, Financial and Technical Results:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tManagement of departmental SHERQ performance (including service providers within portfolio)
\n\u2022\tManagement of costs and maintenance plans
\n\u2022\tExecute capex and opex projects as per parameters
\n\u2022\tDevelopment of formal technical and safety standards<\/p>\n

Leadership and Growth Results:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tOptimal skills transfer and people development
\n\u2022\tDevelopment of civil service model ensuring sustainability through value add
\n\u2022\tFormulation of strategies to support infrastructure requirements
\n\u2022\tFurther development of sandblasting, scaffolding, insulation and painting services (SSIP)
\n\u2022\tEstablish civil forum within Sasolburg district<\/p>\n

Customer and Relationship Results:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tEstablish and maintain effective communication systems (SBU\u2019s and Service Providers)
\n\u2022\tManage site civil communication with service providers<\/p>\n

Management Results:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tFormulate systems and procedures for civil operating model
\n\u2022\tManagement of roadway and SSIP service contracts
\n\u2022\tFocus on quality control and quantity surveying in relevant contract stream<\/p>\n

\n\u2022\tSound technical knowledge
\n\u2022\tMust be able to negotiate and attain alignment in service environment
\n\u2022\tThe incumbent must be able to work independently and in a team
\n\u2022\tKnowledge of project management

Job Requirements<\/strong>

\n\u2022\tGood knowledge of SANS codes for Civil Engineering and Building (must)
