Equipment Jobs: Mechanic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Group Five Plant &amp; Equipment is looking for a Mechanic for Civil and Earthworks plant for South Africa and Across Boarder<\/p>\n<p>The ideal candidate will have the following competencies:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ability<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Check all mobile equipment tyre pressure weekly<\/li>\n<li>Check oil sample reports daily for outstanding feedbacks and action<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to safety regulations<\/li>\n<li>Carry out all repairs, maintenance and servicing on the earthmoving equipment in accordance with the laid down procedures and manufacturers manuals<\/li>\n<li>Carry out daily inspections as per issued control sheet and ensure equipment repairs are carried out timeously<\/li>\n<li>Check oil, filter and GET stock levels daily and report any shortages for prompt recording<\/li>\n<li>Check and report on operator check sheets daily<\/li>\n<li>The incumbent of this position should have excellent knowledge about earth moving equip which incl a sound knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics<\/li>\n<li>Ensure equipment is operated within the parameters of the OEM recommendations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Experience<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevent Trade Certificate (Preferably Olifantsfontein)<\/li>\n<li>10 Years experience on construction &amp;
