What are the responsibilities for the role?<\/strong><\/p>\n To provide the technical expertise in a defined technology \/segment of engineering scope for major engineering projects.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n System Concepts<\/strong><\/p>\n Support of System Engineers and Project team to project related engineering solutions \/ designs<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hardware Design <\/strong><\/p>\n Uses the basic design as source information and creates the hardware design. The designs to be completed are: Circuit diagrams, single line diagrams, cable blocks, list of components, layout drawings, terminal schedules and list of drawings. The drawings are for: MCC’s, PLC’s, Drives, Instruments and remote IO.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Hardware Testing <\/strong><\/p>\n Testing of the “AS designed “System to produce a fault free system, thereby minimising the commissioning time.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Commissioning <\/strong><\/p>\n Ensuring that the Equipment and Engineering meet the project and process requirements. Ensuring the documentation is marked up with the changes and modifications<\/p>\n implemented during commissioning.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Quality Assurance <\/strong><\/p>\n Ensure that all Engineering work is done in accordance with Siemens Quality Assurance standards and procedures. This includes compliance with the OHSA<\/p>\n requirements for safety standards.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
