Job Description: The incumbent will be responsible to manage and maintain an efficient Occupational Health Service and risk
\nbased Medical Surveillance Programme as prescribed by the MHSA.<\/p>\n

\n\uf0b7 Develop, implement, maintain and monitor Medical Surveillance Programme to ensure legal compliance
\n\uf0b7 Develop, implement and maintain Primary Health Care Programmes which includes chronic diseases, HIV\/Aids and
\nTuberculosis to enhance the wellness of employees
\n\uf0b7 Compile and distribute reports in accordance with legislation and company standards
\n\uf0b7 Conduct trend analysis of Medical Surveillance and Primary Health Care and provide feedback and action plans
\n\uf0b7 Assist in treating injury on duty cases with notifications to the Occupational Medical Practitioner
\n\uf0b7 Assist and participate during health campaigns
\n\uf0b7 Update and maintain all medical records and registers
\n\uf0b7 Oversee inspections of First Aid equipment and First Aid rooms
\n\uf0b7 Participate in investigating medical cases as and when necessary and ensure prompt reporting to the relevant authorities
\n\uf0b7 Perform budgeting activities for area of responsibility and responsible to perform stock management activities
\n\uf0b7 Personnel management including the implementation of a proper workflow system
\n\uf0b7 Ensure adherence to the Mine\u2019s Codes of Practice for Medical Fitness, Standards, Procedures and Protocols and report any
\nobservations of this not being done
\n\uf0b7 Ensure personal and co-workers adherence and compliance to Security and Company\u2019s SHE objectives<\/p>\n
\n\uf0b7 Relevant Degree \/ Diploma in General Nursing with Psychiatry, Community, Occupational Health and Primary Health
\n\uf0b7 Registered with SASHON and South African Nursing Council as Professional Nurse
\n\uf0b7 5 years Occupational Health experience
\n\uf0b7 PC Literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows System
\n\uf0b7 Qualified in Spirometry and Audiometry<\/p>\n
\n\uf0b7 Time management, planning, leading and organisational abilities
\n\uf0b7 Independent, proactive thinking, motivated and have the ability to do own job planning
\n\uf0b7 Good Interpersonal skills
\n\uf0b7 Capable of working under pressure and within a team
