\nJOB DESCRIPTION: Applications are invited from suitably qualified Electricians, who will be responsible for
\nmaintenance, repair and installation of electrical equipment and installations in the underground workings.<\/p>\n

Tasks and Responsibilities:
\n\uf0b7 Repair, maintain and install relevant electrical equipment associated with mining operations
\n\uf0b7 Implement recommendations and improvements as prescribed by OEM
\n\uf0b7 Report defects and breakdowns to the foreman
\n\uf0b7 Communicate with clients and supervisors to inform on maintenance activities and equipment reliability
\n\uf0b7 Maintain and create job cards for unscheduled maintenance
\n\uf0b7 Ensure compliance with legal requirements and mine policies, procedures and standards<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:
\n\uf0b7 Grade 12\/N3
\n\uf0b7 Recognised Electrician Trade Test Certificate \u2013 with minimum N2 in Electrical Engineering
\n\uf0b7 Recognised Apprenticeship
\n\uf0b7 Valid driver\u2019s license
\n\uf0b7 2 years\u2019 post qualification experience as an Electrician
\n\uf0b7 Drill Rig experience will be an advantage
\n\uf0b7 Underground experience will be an advantage
\n\uf0b7 Experience on PLC systems will be an advantage<\/p>\n

Other Skills\/Competencies:
\n\uf0b7 Independent, proactive thinker and have the ability to do own job planning
\n\uf0b7 Knowledge of relevant legislation
\n\uf0b7 Good written and verbal communication skills in English
\n\uf0b7 Meticulous in following equipment specifications
