The M.A.C Artist represents the image, products and culture of the company to the customer. Their primary responsibility is customer service and sales, achieved through exceptional communication skills and artistic abilities, maintaining the store environment and operations and assisting with administrative duties.<\/p>\n

Customer Service & Sales<\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Provide welcoming, personal, professional service to all customers at all times.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Demonstrate effective communication skills, listen to the customer, ask questions, investigate preferences and make the experience interactive.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Suggest groups of appropriate products and colours to meet and exceed customer’s needs.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Assist customers with product and services selection and information.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Perform professional and appropriate makeup applications to achieve the look the customer desires.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Inform customers of available services, M.A.C consciousness programs and philosophies.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Obtain customer data for M.A.C addict book or other client list as required.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Meet your individual responsibility for your appropriate contribution to the team’s goals in terms of service, sales and company objectives.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Adhere to current “good counter practices”.<\/p>\n Manages Operational effectiveness<\/b><\/p>\n Team Work:<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Give great internal customer service and develop good working relationships with colleagues.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Be punctual and manage time on counter effectively.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Keep informed about products, company information and store information.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Actively participate in store theme days, events and new product launches.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Achieve Skills Certification requirements.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Actively participate in M.A.C training sessions and partnered store mandatory training sessions.<\/p>\n Assist in Inventory Management<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Assist daily in stock and hygiene supplies replenishment and maintain appropriate levels throughout the day.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Communicate low on stock and out of stocks to the Retail Manager.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Assist in the proper rotation of stock<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Improves Business Processes<\/b><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Maintaining work environment<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Actively participate in cleaning displayer units, tools and testers throughout the day, and more thoroughly at night to prepare for next day’s business.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Maintain a clean and organized work area.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Maintain tester units in proper schematic order, replace products once authorized by manager.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Replace any broken or damaged products authorized by<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Manager.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Maintain proper placement and condition of merchandise on counter, in stock rooms and all stock holding areas.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Inform management of any store maintenance or Health and Safety issues which might lead to accidents.<\/p>\n Administrative Assistance Activities<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Assist with inventory counts.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Be responsible for booking demos and lessons.<\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Adhere to proper security procedures regarding handling of cash and assets.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions<\/b><\/p>\n \u2022\u00a0 Full, unrestricted Drivers license<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/b><\/p>\nHow to Apply for Estee Lauder Careers and Job Opportunities<\/h4>\n
