\nAnalyze performance of the Manufacturing Supply, Fuel Supply and Bulk System Sales segments against Business Plan. Make recommendations to improve enterprise performance
\nCompare actual results versus Business Plan and use key commercial drivers to explain variances
\nQuery abnormal variances by engaging relevant individuals\/departments
\nReport variances to management and stakeholders
\nRecommend corrective action<\/p>\n
\nProvide appropriate reports as required by the organization to represent the state of the business and explain the business performance against plans \/ targets
\nIf required, present reports at meetings<\/p>\n
\nLead strategic projects and studies as required by the business
\nParticipate in project teams as required by the business
\nIndentify project opportunities for creating enterprise value<\/p>\n
\nObtain a thorough understanding of reporting tools
\nContinuously seek business process improvements and drive implementation of such improvements
\nShould spare capacity be available within this position, then work may be allocated from other positions within the team to ensure an even spread of workload
\nIdentify high risk areas and use Loss Prevention System tools to mitigate risks
\nShare knowledge with peers\/other departments
\nEncourage others to demonstrate the Chevron Way<\/p>\n
\nA tertiary qualification (Commerce or Business Science) and experience relevant to this position will be an advantage
\nMust have a good understanding of the full value chain
\nHas a strong financial & analytical background
\nHas strong commercial acumen
\nGood communication skills
\nPossesses a good understanding of the industry, the environment in which the company operates and the overall objectives and vision of the company
\nAble to work with minimal supervision, be self motivated, enjoy working in a team and can operate under tight or stringent deadlines
