\nTo source the best Information Communication Technology goods and services at best value for SITA and government
\nand focus on the most priority ICT areas for government.<\/p>\n
\nDevelop Acquisition Management operational plan that is aligned to the Acquisition Management Strategy
\nfor the operationalisation and implementation of the Demand \/ Resource plan; Lead communication with
\nclients to ensure effective operationalisation of Acquisition Management activities; Facilitate the promotion of
\nBEE and SMME suppliers within the SCM process in order to develop the indigenous ICT sector; Monitor the end to end
\nsourcing process through effective management of the procurement processes and overall life cycle management of
\nthe contract in order to achieve economies of scale and ensure compliance to regulations, and any instructions issued
\nby National Treasury from time to time; Monitor and review contract performance regularly in order to maximise
\nbenefit and value in the operationalisation of the contract; Manage resources (i.e. budget\/finances, asset\/equipment
\nand staff) within the Unit in order to ensure the efficient operation of Unit.<\/p>\n
\nMinimum: National Diploma\/ Bachelor\u2019s degree in Commerce \/ Business Management\/ Public Finance\/
\nCommercial Law and\/or equivalent. Registration with Supply Chain Management professional bodies will serve as
\nan added advantage. Experience: 5 – 6 years experience within the Supply Chain Management and Procurement
\nenvironment of which 4 years should be at supervisory\/management level in the Corporate\/ Public Sector
\norganization.<\/p>\n
\nPublic Financial Management Act; Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act; Black Economic Empowerment;
\nBroad Black Based Economic Empowerment; Treasury Regulations; Basic IT knowledge Treasury Regulations; Basic IT
\nknowledge.
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n
\nThe incumbent will be required to travel to other SITA offices around the country.<\/p>\n
