\nThe SUPERVISOR PRODUCTION is accountable for planning,
\ncoordinating, leading and controlling resources within the specific
\nmining section to ensure safe and optimum production of the specific
\nsection within the shaft. The role holder will carry a legal
\nappointment applicable to the role.
\nAt least 3 years experience as a miner (inclusive of excellent
\nsafety and production results)<\/p>\n

\nConducts and coordinates regular safety meetings
\nConducts daily underground safety audits and ensure that necessary actions are taken
\nFollow-up on previous audits findings
\nConducts daily planned task observations (PTOs)
\nConducts accidents and incidents investigations and implement necessary precautions to avoid re-occurrence
\nEnsuring achievement of sustainable production targets through planning, leading, organizing and controlling.
\nPlanning of the life of the section within his area of responsibility.
\nReporting on daily section performance
\nOrdering of materials and equipment
\nEnsure proper maintenance of equipment
\nEnsure that materials and equipment are used for the purpose designed for.
\nRe-claim and re-use previously used equipment
\nImplement systems and ensure compliance with audits
\nImplement business improvement projects\/ initiatives
