Description<\/b>
\nThe Senior Project Control Specialist (SPC) will be allocated large and\/or multi projects and functionally reports to the Projects Controls Lead, for the region within which he\/she operates, and agrees day-to-day activities with the Program or Centre of Excellence Manager.The SPC is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities on allocated projects, as well as the legitimacy of the work assignments for allocated projects & personnel. The SPC will ensure corporate governance, procedure compliance and will provide technical leadership to Global Project Controls (GPC) personnel allocated to the SPC\u2019s projects.<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 Prepares the project schedule reports and provides recovery schedules
\n\u2022 Participate in resource planning on a monthly basis on allocated projects
\n\u2022 Participates in project planning processes, define scope, establishing WBS on allocated projects
\n\u2022 Responsible for project control procedure compliance & standards on allocated projects
\n\u2022 Responsible for accuracy of all area schedules, progress reports
\n\u2022 Actively participates in project progress meetings and provides clear, accurate project assessments
\n\u2022 Gives proactive advice to drive successful project completion
\n\u2022 Accountable for the accuracy of earned value data
\n\u2022 Participates in project review meetings for area, accurate project assessments and proactive advice
\n\u2022 Works on agreed projects
\n\u2022 Participates in project controls resource plan, on a monthly basis
\n\u2022 Provide input to the development of project controls tools & methodology
\n\u2022 Strategy development of Global Project Controls Organization
\n\u2022 Participates in project audits
\n\u2022 Assign adequate resources to all projects in office\/area
\n\u2022 Responsible for direct reports – discipline, expenses, holiday, timesheets, performance development
\n\u2022 Provide leadership & mentoring of PCO personnel
\n\u2022 Conducts annual reviews of PCO personnel
\n\u2022 Proactive, helpful, constructive, integrity & open communication<\/p>\n

\n2 years Primavera P6 experience
\n1 year SAP experience
\nProficiency with Microsoft Office tools
\nProfessional qualification in engineering
