Skills Required:<\/strong>
\n\u2022\tSenior certificate. \u2022\tNational IT Diploma or University IT degree (B.Sc. \/ B.Com) Informatics\/ Information Systems\/Computer Science or Preference will be give to candidates with a degree. Tertiary qualification must be complete, will not consider candidates who have not completed their tertiary qualification. \u2022\tMust have gained a minimum of 1 years \u201cpractical\u201d development experience as part of tertiary qualification. \u2022\tSome experience with Cobol development will be a great advantage. \u2022\tSome experience with VB.NET and VB6 will an advantage. \u2022 Minimal systems analysis and business analysis skills advantage. \u2022\tMust have good knowledge of SDLC life cycle. \u2022\tMust be able to interpret functional specifications and develop quality software that functions exactly as specified. \u2022\tDocumenting new features and functionality to specification. \u2022\tMust have excellent communication skills, time-management skills and work methods. \u2022\tAbility to use initiative and be a self-starter, responsible, conscientious and diligent. \u2022\tAbility to deliver projects on time is a critical element of the position.<\/p>\n
