OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB:
\n– Overall administration, support & installation of IMPERIAL IT core Network. The engineer will be responsible for accurately executing tasks and projects communicated to him\/her by management.
\nSpecific Role Responsibilities MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES\/TASKS:
\n– Administration – The engineer will be responsible for the day to day administration of IMPERIAL IT network, following best practices.
\n– Support \u2013 The engineer will be responsible for the timely and accurate resolution \/ execution of various tasks requested by IMPERIAL IT clients.
\n– Installation \u2013 Installation and configuration of new and existing services.
\n– Communication \u2013 There will be a need for developing relationships with other internal departments as well as with the Clients. This includes communicating the status of projects or tasks to the client and account\/service managers and other stakeholders.
\n– Company standards \u2013 The engineer is expected to follow the company prescribed standards and procedures covering all areas within IMPERIAL IT as well as specifically relating to Network installs and support.
\n– Documentation \u2013 The engineer will be responsible for documenting client and core specific solutions as well as critical processes and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
\n– Capacity, Availability & Change Management \u2013 The engineer will be responsible for documenting and adhering to the various management policies, as well as being required to provide input into those policies.
\n– SLA Management – The engineer will be responsible for adhering to and providing input into the various SLA\u2019s in place.<\/p>\n

\n– Minimum 3 years.<\/p>\n
\n– Matric \/Grade 12 or O and A Levels.
\n– Cisco CCNA & CCNP.
\n– Juniper Networks (Essential).
\n– Fortinet Fortigate.
\n– Excellent TCP\/IP skills.
\n– MPLS, BGP, VPN, SSL, IPsec.
\n– Firewalls Rules.
\n– VOIP.<\/p>\n
