The Professional Provident Society of South Africa is the largest multidisciplinary group of graduate professionals in the world with over 290 000 professional members. Application Criteria and process<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. PPS bursaries are awarded on financial need and academic record to full time university students<\/li>\n
  2. To be eligible for the 2014 awards, the student must be registered at a participating South African University or University of Technology (listed below) registering for a fourth academic year of study or post-graduate degree and must be studying towards a profession, which on qualification, would be eligible for PPS membership<\/li>\n
  3. If you are a student in your 4th academic year of study at a University or University of Technology, studying towards one of the PPS eligible professions, you can join PPS<\/li>\n
  4. The student must be a citizen or permanent resident of South Africa<\/li>\n
  5. Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into<\/li>\n
  6. Application forms must be returned to the PPS Youth Market Specialist (listed below) with 4 supporting documents (listed below) via email or on campus<\/li>\n
  7. Recipients of the Bursary awards will be required to become PPS Student members at no additional cost<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    4 supporting documents to attach with your application form<\/strong><\/p>\n

    1. Certified copies of all available examination results, including the most recent (June) or progress report<\/li>\n
    2. Declaration of own and\/or family\u2019s financial position (copy of affidavit)<\/li>\n
    3. Statements of student account confirming no outstanding fees for the current or previous years<\/li>\n
    4. Certified copy of ID \/ Passport<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Notification of Award<\/p>\n

      Successful candidates will be informed in writing (email) by 28 February 2014.<\/p>\n

      Presentation of Award<\/p>\n

      The handover of the bursary will be presented by the dean and a PPS representative at the University in the beginning of 2014.<\/p>\n
