\n\uf0b7 Responsible for expediting, placing of orders and purchasing
\n\uf0b7 Meet general purchasing needs in assigned areas of commodities and services
\n\uf0b7 Co-ordinate the timeous delivery of ordered commodities
\n\uf0b7 Knowledge of quality, quantity targets and standards which need to be met
\n\uf0b7 Investigate price variance and queries
\n\uf0b7 Code all items in conformance with Group central catalogues
\n\uf0b7 Facilitate requests for system changes regarding purchasing and inventory control modules
\n\uf0b7 Resolve queries relating to the purchasing and inventory related reports
\n\uf0b7 Provide support in the use and processing of inventory related reports
\n\uf0b7 Communicate, support and train end users regarding relevant ACCPAC modules and e-Workflow
\n\uf0b7 Ensure personal and co-workers adherence and compliance to Security and the Company\u2019s SHE objectives
\n\uf0b7 Required to work according to the Mine\u2019s Code of Practice, and report any observations of this not being done
\n\uf0b7 Source and liaise with new and alternative suppliers
\n\uf0b7 Provide general administrative support to the purchasing function<\/p>\n
\n\uf0b7 Grade 12\/ Standard 10
\n\uf0b7 Diploma in Purchasing \/ Supply Chain Management
\n\uf0b7 3 years\u2019 experience in a purchasing environment
\n\uf0b7 PC Literate and working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows System
\n\uf0b7 Working knowledge of AccPac System
\n\uf0b7 Experience in the mining environment<\/p>\n
\n\uf0b7 Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal) and one other official language
\n\uf0b7 Planning, co-ordinating and prioritizing
\n\uf0b7 Problem solving, decision making and initiating ideas
\n\uf0b7 Working effectively with a diverse group of people
\n\uf0b7 Good interpersonal relationships<\/p>\n
