\n\u2022 Obtain competitive outwork and freight costs for estimating
\n\u2022 Ensure the delivery of timeous estimates and the provision of RELEVANT TECHNICAL ADVICE to clients and Accounts Executives
\n\u2022 Effective utilization and application of systems and workflows to ensure the production of timeous high quality quotes
\n\u2022 Advise clients on availability of raw materials and other related technical requirements
\n\u2022 Apply effective communication methods to ensure all stakeholders are informed of changes and amendments<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A relevant diploma in Estimating (an advantage)
\n\u2022 Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Word; MS Excel and be able to communicate effectively via e-mail
\n\u2022 DIMS or similar MIS package would be an added advantage<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 5 years as a generalist estimator in the media environment
\n\u2022 Thorough understanding of technical and product knowledge of printing processes
\n\u2022 Thorough knowledge of the print media market environment and pricing structures
\n\u2022 Good understanding of paper, post-press and logistics environments<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Leadership Skills
\n\u2022 Listening skills
\n\u2022 Interpretation of client requests and specifications to assist in advising and costing
\n\u2022 Analytical and Problem solving skills
\n\u2022 Mathematical skills
\n\u2022 Attention to detail and accuracy
\n\u2022 Time management and stress tolerance<\/p>\n
