Position Description<\/strong><\/p>\n Santam’s Broker Distribution: Agriculture department has a position available for a Relationship Manager who will be based in Pretoria.<\/p>\n To develop and coordinate Agri broker relationships at strategic level with the focus on efficiency, growth, and profitability in line with broker and Santam objectives and support off Broker Distribution .<\/p>\n The role requires a fresh approach to the marketing of Agricultural insurance. It requires that the unique features in the agricultural environment are aligned with Santam\u2019s overall strategy in such a way that clients, intermediaries, business partners and the agricultural industry at large, perceive Santam as the undisputed industry leader.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n Develop and coordinate the broker and internal relationships<\/p>\n Define and deliver on growth and profitability targets on Agri business<\/p>\n Understand, translate and champion the strategic and holistic needs of the brokers and clients<\/p>\n Identify and implement innovative cost-effective delivery solutions<\/p>\n Monitor and respond to market trends and developments<\/p>\n Manage and lead real and virtual teams to support the coordinated broker approach<\/p>\n Cross-selling and upselling<\/p>\n Manage SLA and CSI requirements<\/p>\n Facilitate overall broker\/staff\u00a0 Agri\u00a0 training according to needs<\/p>\n <\/p>\n
