About the role<\/p>\n
The Marketing and Sales Support Analyst is responsible for developing general business intelligence reporting\/analytical data insights, lead process management and community database management for Mimecast South Africa. The reporting services and data management are in support of the overall marketing and sales business strategy working in conjunction with the global team to provide business analytical reports to the local office.<\/p>\n

The successful candidate will be a person with exceptional multitasking and time management skills and have the ability to prioritise key tasks, whilst working in a high performance environment. This role calls for someone who has a passion for analytical information, drawing reports and working closely with members of the Marketing team, Market Development Specialists and Sales teams. A focused person, who will reduce inefficiencies, standardizing processes where applicable and enhancing the execution and success by increasing the chances of higher operational efficiencies and overall revenue returns.<\/p>\n

\nMonitor and improve on community target groups through use of Netsuite and Marketo inbound marketing tool
\nSupport integrity of community data and conduct regular audits with Customer Experience, Sales and Channel teams to ensure data sanity
\nSummarize insights to create actionable, client-facing reports that lead to optimization
\nAssist with accurate segmentation and complete lists for monthly newsletters to customers and partner communities
\nReview and improve on processes utilizing Netsuite and Marketo through regional relationship with global owners for these systems
\nSupport and maintain internal Mimecast community information
\nProvide in-depth reporting on community groups, frequency of communications
\nProvide required reporting on marketing campaigns from Netsuite
\nProvide support with the customer communication strategy incorporating multiple elements \u2013 Netsuite, portal and Marketo integration
\nAssist with analytics on trending and campaign planning\/segmentation
\nAssist with accumulating data and providing this in useable format to relevant teams including Market Development, Customer Advocates, Sales and Channel.
\nAssist Sales with pipeline management process, reporting and ensuring SLA processes are executed against
\nProvide in depth reporting on sales performance & efficiency as well as the MDS function<\/p>\n
\nStrong expertise in building intelligence reports and providing analytical views on data
\nProven track record in marketing database operations and administration with an emphasis on continued improvement of these skills
\nAbility to recognise information gaps and intuitively combine data from multiple independent sources to derive actionable business intelligence and insights in order to bridge these gaps
\nStrong knowledge of customer relationship systems, measurement and reporting
\nPrevious exposure to automated lead nurturing and sales opportunity\/pipeline processes (advantageous)
\nFundamental understanding of the technology environment and software products
\nHighly advanced Excel skills, particularly in data matching\/lookups and pivots as well as the ability to create robust, intelligent, user-friendly templates
\nMS Office
\nProven track record of delivering measurable results
\nPrevious experience in cleansing and improving CRM systems\u2019 data
\nExperience in building custom reports on CRM systems
\nNetsuite experience (advantageous)
\nRelational Database (SQL) experience and\/or understanding (Highly advantageous)<\/p>\n
\nDegree or diploma preferable, however, not essential<\/p>\n
