Our ambitious plans now mean we are looking for a highly experienced Business Managers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><label id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_DESCRIPTION_label\" for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.JPM_DESCRIPTION\">Job Purpose<\/label>\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\nTo provide a proactive business banking sales and service management function that will retain and grow a portfolio of small enterprise customers by identifying and implementing value adding and specialised business banking financial product solutions from a range of standard and\/or customised offerings.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><label id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.FLD_JPM_KEYRESPONSIBILITIES_label\" for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.FLD_JPM_KEYRESPONSIBILITIES\">Key Responsibilities\/Accountabilities<\/label>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Bank of South Africa (SBSA) product offerings\/financial solutions that meet the financial needs of small enterprise customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Acquires new risk groups and opens new business accounts on a face-to face basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cross-sells additional value adding products and services to existing customers to assist them in growing their businesses<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifies and refers sales leads to Business stakeholders e.g. Vehicle and Asset Finance; Electronic Banking; SBFC; SBIB etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Analyses existing customer data to identify expansion and\/or additional business opportunities utilising available MIS and contact management strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure effective and appropriate pricing across all products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures consistent execution of CVP by utilising customer needs analysis, product holding report and entrepreneur engagement template.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides central information\/ query service point for the portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Performs a liaison role between customers and back &#8211; office service fulfilment and credit functions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Adheres to the customer contact strategy in line with Customer Value Proposition (CVP).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Accurately and efficiently processes customer mandates\/documentation requirements for banking facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure effective customer migration to Direct Channels.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Identifies opportunities to migrate top-end relationships to Business\/Mid-Corporate segment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Captures all customer interactions within 24 hours on Customer Contact Management system (e3).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<h6>Customer Experience<\/h6>\n<p>Lending support and risk management<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Plans and implements annual credit reviews for the portfolio.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Explains credit loan facility options and qualifying criteria to customers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supports customers in the completion of credit application information requirements e.g. balance sheets, financial statements and management accounts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Motivates and processes non-scored and scored credit applications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Notifies customers regarding the approval\/decline of credit loan facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitors daily referrals to ensure that customer facilities are managed within the parameters set by Credit. Exercise discretion regarding account conduct based on a close knowledge and understanding of customer activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Applies risk based pricing models and manage concessions appropriately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures that all Business Banking reports are actioned as stipulated by Group Reference Guide (GRG).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Economic Profit<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the achievement of financial budgets through optimal growth of balances, margin management and revenue streams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieves financial budgets in line with local markets dynamics.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Effectively manages pricing concessions and revenue collection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Legislative compliance<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Supports the implementation of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) to ensure adherence to record keeping requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures compliance to all applicable legislative requirements such as National Credit Act, Companies Act, Consumer Protection Act, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures the adherence to all internal risk related policies and guidelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensures adherence to enhanced due diligence (EDD) process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>People Management<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for inspiring, motivating, leading and managing the team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the recruitment, development and retention of relevant skills in order to meet the business needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><label id=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.FLD_JPM_PREFERRED_QUALIFICATION_label\" for=\"com.peopleclick.cp.formdata.FLD_JPM_PREFERRED_QUALIFICATION\">Preferred Qualification and Experience<\/label><\/p>\n<p>Qualifications:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Matric<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant business related tertiary qualification e.g. B.Comm degree would be an advantage<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Experience:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years in Business Banking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience as a Business Banker\/managing a portfolio in the small business environment is preferable.
