The Society for Family Health (SFH) is looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern to join its team in Johannesburg.<\/p>\n
SFH is South Africa\u2019s leading non-profit, non-governmental provider of health products, services and communications and South Africa\u2019s leading social marketing organization. Social marketing is the non-profit use of commercial marketing techniques to address public health issues.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n
General administrative tasks including; answering phones, organising of meetings, typing of correspondence,<\/p>\n
Planning of conferences and meetings; minutes of meetings;<\/p>\n
Liaising appropriately with clients, staff and suppliers;<\/p>\n
Handle all marketing inquiries;<\/p>\n
Maintain office systems and procedures; maintaining online filing systems, managing correspondence<\/p>\n
Follow-up with Procurement on marketing and communication material;<\/p>\n
Follow-up with agencies on progress;<\/p>\n
Social media content;<\/p>\n
Assist with drafting of IEC material;<\/p>\n
Assist PR & Communications Manager in daily tasks.<\/p>\n

Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n
Completed FET Marketing qualification or still studying<\/p>\n
Committed to HIV Prevention work;<\/p>\n
PR\/Marketing qualification;<\/p>\n
Ability to think creatively and out-of-the-box;<\/p>\n
Excellent attention to detail;<\/p>\n
Good verbal and written communication skills;<\/p>\n
Dynamic and driven;<\/p>\n
Hard worker;<\/p>\n
Eager to learn<\/p>\n
