\nLocation of the post: Makhado: Limpopo (1 Post) (Ref FS 137\/2013)
\nSecunda: Mpumalanga (1 Post) (Ref FS 138\/2013)
\nSalary Level: BAND B1 Salary Notch 3 R212 286 (Per Annum)
\nAdditional Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 A three year NQF 6 qualification, majoring in one or more of the following: Forensic Science \/
\nInvestigation, Criminalistics, Police Science, Criminology, Police Administration, Criminal Law,
\nCriminal Procedure Law, Law of Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Fine
\nArts and Graphic Design will be an advantage.
\n\u2022 A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in the field of the post will be an advantage.<\/p>\n

Core Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 Perform facial sketches of suspects.
\n\u2022 Identify suspects and victims through scientific methods.
\n\u2022 Liaise with experts in related fields for investigative purposes.
\n\u2022 Advise investigators regarding facial identification and forensic anthropology methods.
\n\u2022 Present evidence in court.
\n\u2022 Provide guidance on policies, standards and procedures regarding facial identification policies.
\n\u2022 Conduct research projects in the facial identification field with a view of improving the services at
\nLCRC.<\/p>\n
