\nPort Elizabeth: Eastern Cape (2 Posts) (Ref FS 149\/2013)
\nSalary Level: BAND B1 Salary Notch 3 R212 286 (Per Annum)
\nAdditional Requirements:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 A relevant three year Diploma or Degree in Chemistry
\n\u2022 Experience in chemical analysis would be beneficial
\n\u2022 A minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in the field of the post will be an advantage.
\nCore Responsibilities:<\/strong>
\n\u2022 To perform effective analysis of exhibit material for drug and medicine related substances.
\n\u2022 Issue the 212 statements\/reports on the findings.
\n\u2022 Perform case file review.
\n\u2022 Provide expert testimony in courts of law.
\n\u2022 Comply with the Quality Management System and SHE requirements.
\n\u2022 Perform forensic investigation including crime scene investigations;
\n\u2022 Conduct relevant research.
\n\u2022 Perform general administrative duties related to casework.
\n\u2022 Successful participation in relevant training interventions and mentorship.
\n\u2022 Management and utilization off all resources allocated to the environment in accordance with
\nrelevant directives and legislations<\/p>\n
