Sasol wants to train and develop learners to become a qualified Artisan according to the requirements of the Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).<\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Purpose Of The Job:<\/h3>\n<p>To train and develop a learner to become a qualified artisan OR miner according to the requirements of Mining Qualifications Authority (MQA).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Learner Miner required outputs: Functional<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Attend prescribed Learner Miner Training course<\/li>\n<li>Work underground to meet the theoretical and practical outcome based training requirements of the course<\/li>\n<li>Obtain a permanent Blasting Certificate for fiery mines after 12 months of practical training underground in accordance to Mining Qualification Authority requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Job Requirements<\/h3>\n<p>If you are an external applicant, please ensure that you meet the following qualifying criteria before you apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 12 with Mathematics SG (minimum E symbol) (NOT including Maths Literacy, Additional Maths, Functional Maths, Commercial Maths, Applied Maths)<\/li>\n<li>English passed OR N3 Certificate with Maths (minimum E symbol) and Business English passed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you are an internal applicant (permanent Sasol employee), please ensure that you meet the following qualifying criteria before you apply:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade 11 with Mathematics SG (minimum E symbol) (NOT including Maths Literacy, Additional Maths, Functional Maths, Commercial Maths, Applied Maths)<\/li>\n<li>English passed OR N2 Certificate with Maths (minimum E symbol)<\/li>\n<li>Business English passed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><b>Personal Attributes<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Personal Attributes: Competencies (skills, knowledge and characteristics):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Good communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Be proactive and initiative<\/li>\n<li>Be a team player as well as independent worker<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated<\/li>\n<li>Flexible<\/li>\n<li>Realistic<\/li>\n<li>English proficiency<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>\u00a0How To Apply<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/sasol.ats.hrsmart.com\/cgi-bin\/a\/highlightjob.cgi?jobid=12259\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Online<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing Date:\u00a0<\/strong>25 November 2013<br \/>\n<strong>Location:\u00a0<\/strong>Secunda\/Sasolburg<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Position Summary Sasol offers the following learnership opportunities to youngsters with a goodtechnical\u00a0mind-set in Secunda and Sasolburg.
