Statistics South Africa (Stats SA) has established a bursary scheme to offer financial assistance for qualifying applicants to undertake full-time study at any South African university in the following fields:<\/p>\n

BSc \u2013 Computer Science or Mathematical Stastics<\/li>\n
BCom \u2013 Economics, Accounting or Statistics<\/li>\n
BA \u2013 Geography (majoring in GIS) or Demography<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

School Leavers<\/b><\/p>\n

Only SA citizens between the ages of 17\u201321.<\/li>\n
Applicants should have a minimum symbol C in Mathematics.<\/li>\n
University acceptance letter.<\/li>\n
Applicants should have a minimum of 60% aggregate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
University students<\/b><\/p>\n

\u00a01st and nd Only SA citizens between the ages of 17\u201321, who are currently doing 1 and 2 year undergraduate studies.<\/li>\n
Applicants should have a minimum of 60% pass rate on all courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
