We require an experienced Safety Administrator to effectively administer and organise all Occupational Health and Safety related administrative matters.
\nThe administrator must maintain professionalism with all internal and external role players.<\/p>\n

Key Duties & Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n Collate statistical data received from Sites for the compilation of Safety Reports. <\/p>\n General administration:<\/strong> <\/p>\n Skills, Experience & Education <\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Experience: Minimum of 2 year experience in a similar position <\/p>\n
\nCapture statistical data, incidents and safety related information on the S4 system.
\nProvide support services to the Sites for all S4 related issues.
\nAssist with the implementation and rollout of safety awareness campaigns.
\nSchedule monthly health and safety committee meetings.
\nTake minutes at health and safety committee meetings.
\nEnsure that the S.H.E. Rep Inspection reports are received on a monthly basis.
\nEnsure that all first aider, fire fighter and S.H.E rep certificates are current.
\nReceive requisitions from sites and process the 6.1, 6.2 and 6.6 safety appointment and retraction letters as per the OHS Act.
\nFollow up with sites on audit close outs and ensure that the completed close out reports are received timeously.
\nKeep track of awards and achievements from sites.
\nUpdate the NCR register and ensure that all NCR close out reports are received.
\nEnsure that work related injuries on duty are registered with FEM (COID).
\nFollow through on outstanding claims to ensure that the claims are kept up to date.
\nEnsure that FEM is informed of employees working cross border (Section 23).
\nCommunicate with the Quality Document Controller for the archiving of documents at Document Warehouse.<\/p>\n
\nFiling, record keeping,
\nScreening and answering of incoming phone calls, transferring of calls to correct persons and\/or departments.
\nMaintain upkeep of Safety department and office equipment.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Grade 12
\n\u2022 Safety Qualification advantages
\n\u2022 Advanced computer literacy
\n\u2022 Extensive knowledge of COID administration.<\/p>\n
