Job Description and Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n WANTED<\/p>\n Technically qualified employees for a newly established function within the Purchasing Division.<\/p>\n PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONS:<\/p>\n \u2022 Actively track and control Purchase Part development at suppliers to ensure sample part delivery according to pre-determined milestones and specification <\/p>\n Education and Experience <\/strong><\/p>\n REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:<\/p>\n \u2022 A Technical Degree \/ Diploma or <\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Conduct regular supplier visits to monitor progress
\n\u2022 Pre-empting possible problems with tool design or manufacture
\n\u2022 Troubleshooting (identifying problems and implementing fixes) during the development phase to prevent and \/ or minimize delays in development and disruptions to production
\n\u2022 Co-ordinate internal communication to ensure a single communication channel to suppliers
\n\u2022 Provide technical support to Commodity buyers, regarding tooling related issues of parts required for serial production<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 A technical trade (e.g. Toolmaker) supported by an NTC 6 qualification. Forging\/casting experience advantageous.
\n\u2022 At least 5 years experience in key technologies such as plastics, metallic, electrical or manufacturing processes
\n\u2022 Experience in tool manufacturing or design
\n\u2022 Experience in Pilot Hall or Supplier Quality would be an advantage or
\n\u2022 Purchasing Qualification with at least 5 years experience in abovementioned fields<\/p>\n
