The MWEB Connect division based in Cape Town currently has a vacancy for a Team Manager: Sales who will be reporting to the Assistant Call Centre Manager – Outbound and will be responsible for managing a team of Outbound Sales Agents in meeting MWEB Connect sales drivers in order to acquire new subscribers and up-sell to a variety of MWEB Connect products to existing customers.<\/p>\n

Duties & Responsibilities <\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Manage and maximise the achievement of sales targets and objectives <\/p>\n Required Skills <\/strong><\/p>\n \u2022 Strong people management \u2022 Knowledge of the ICT sector \/ Telecommunications industry is essential
\n\u2022 Manage a team of outbound sales agents
\n\u2022 Ensure that sales, talk time, quality and service level targets are achieved
\n\u2022 Responsible for acquiring new subscribers and up selling to existing clients, thereby contributing to the business drivers of MWEB Connect
\n\u2022 Coach sales staff with regards to sales performance, customer service and telephone etiquette
\n\u2022 Maintain a standard of excellence in line with the core principles of MWEB
\n\u2022 Responsible for all industrial relations matters pertaining to the management of your team
\n\u2022 Motivation of team
\n\u2022 Develop, produce and deliver reports of the outbound performance
\n\u2022 Able to present monthly portfolio
\n\u2022 Perform ad hoc duties and requirements as and when needed
\n\u2022 Able to work shifts \/ flexible hours and weekends<\/p>\n
\n\u2022 Performance management skills

\n\u2022 Knowledge of sales contact centre inbound and outbound processes and methodologies is essential
\n\u2022 Matric is essential
\n\u2022 Knowledge and experience of ACD\u2019s, IVR, CTI and Voice loggers
\n\u2022 Proven sales record is essential
\n\u2022 Minimum of 2 years outbound sales contact centre experience in a managerial position is essential (managing a team of people)
\n\u2022 Knowledge of MS Office is essential<\/p>\n
