Mission<\/strong>
\nTo define and implement the strategy of the Sales team and to manage the Direct Sales team to maintain and grow account base delivering on set sales objectives and to increase revenue and market share within the region.<\/p>\n

KPA duties<\/strong>
\nKey Task<\/strong><\/p>\n

Operational Planning \u2022Define and implement the medium and long-term strategy for the Corporate Sales function is met, by alignment of all activities undertaken in the unit to the strategy of MTN Business
\n\u2022Provide input into reviewing organisational activities and assist in recommending corrective actions if necessary
\n\u2022Implement the action plans from the Sales strategy and ensuring efficiency of process in all areas
\n\u2022Provide feedback on the impact of solutions on other areas of the business, as well as the interdependency of units
\n\u2022Ensure continuous improvement and innovation at process and procedure level within All MTN Business operational departments
\n\u2022Implement methods, systems and procedures to enhance effectiveness and meet departmental goals<\/p>\n

Operations and service enhancement
\n\u2022Input into the Sales strategies for the implementation thereof
\n\u2022Define, implement and input into identifying ways to fine-tune operational support methods to enhance effectiveness and meet departmental goals
\n\u2022Identify and evaluate areas of improvement within the Sales department, identifying possible solutions to address deficiencies and implementing according to plan
\n\u2022Ensure that all performance and key performance area standards of the function are monitored and tracked
\n\u2022Ensure that all requirements are met with both customer and operational needs
\n\u2022Analyse and interpret all data that interfaces directly with the division and report to the GM
\n\u2022Define the development of communication objectives and plans for the Sales function that touch all point of the business
\n\u2022Implement operational analysis on sales structures that support the delivery of strategy
\n\u2022Implement the quality standard frameworks and ensure that high levels of quality service are maintained and that all areas operate as close to global best practice as possible<\/p>\n

Reporting<\/strong>
\n\u2022Identify relevant information and data for reporting purposes during departmental meetings
\n\u2022Identify and interpret relevant information and data for reporting purposes
\n\u2022Make assessments of and draw solutions from qualitative data. Make logical deductions and draw conclusions that can be motivated
\n\u2022Provide daily, weekly and monthly reports on all activities of the section<\/p>\n

\n\u2022Ensure all documentation is filed in a manner that is easily retrieval by any member of the team and meet the organisational requirements.<\/p>\n

Educational requirements<\/strong>
\nEducation:
\n\u2022Matric plus
\n\u2022Degree\/Diploma in Sales & marketing, Finance and IT related, Cisco (advantages)<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Experience required<\/strong>
\nExperience:
\n\u2022Minimum 8 years sales experience in ICT industry focussed on the ISP\/Telecommunications sector
\n\u2022Minimum 5 years ISP management experience
\n\u2022Minimum 2 years leading a sales team with set targets
\n\u2022Minimum 4 \u2013 5 years of senior leadership experience in similar positions, in fast-moving industries
\n\u2022A solid sales track record (performance against target)
\n\u2022Comprehensive administrator experience with setting targets, providing forecasts and other general management reports
\n\u2022A good understanding of MTN\u2019s various internal operations and its different structures<\/p>\n
