\n\u25cf Appropriate experience in Social Work after registration as Social Worker with the
\nSACSSP \u25cf Registration with SA Council for Social Service Professional (SACSSP)
\n\u25cf Knowledge and experience in Mediation \u25cf Knowledge and application of Family
\nLaw, including Mediation in certain Divorce Matters Act, Maintenance Act and
\nDomestic Violence Act (inclusive Hague Convention on International Child
\nAbduction) \u25cf A valid drivers\u2019 licence.<\/p>\n
\nskills \u25cf Mediation, Interviewing, conflict resolution, evaluation and report writing
\nskills \u25cf Diversity and conflict management \u25cf Attention to detail.
\n <\/p>\n
\ndisciplinary team in custody, access, guardianship, child abduction and related family
\nlaw disputes \u25cf Evaluate information and compile forensic court reports and make
\nrecommendations to the best interest of children in family law disputes \u25cf Act as
\nexpert witness for the Family Advocate in Court \u25cf Network and conduct awareness
\ncampaigns regarding the functions and role of the Office of the Family Advocate
\n\u25cf Travel to townships and rural areas to conduct inquiries and interview parties and
\nsource references in family law disputes \u25cf Report on the performance to the Head of
\nOffice.<\/p>\n
