\n\u2022 Develop Test Plans which includes the features to be tested, exclusions, test strategy and entry\/exit criteria for the changes or projects being tested
\n\u2022 Create test cases against the requirements and functional specifications
\n\u2022 Tests in accordance to the criteria outlined in the planning stage
\n\u2022 Where possible complete testing of emergency changes
\n\u2022 Communicates test results to Project management and Test Leads
\n\u2022 Review test scripts and results and ensure that they are signed off by all stakeholders
\n\u2022 Conduct User Acceptance Testing aligned to the test plan with a high level of professionalism ensuring that all back-out plans are documented and tested..
\n\u2022 Provide Test Environment support by raising issues to ensure the environment is available as per the UAT support schedule.
\n\u2022 Plan verification of testing content and validation of data
\n\u2022 Interface and coordinate with business and\/or technical subject matter experts
\n\u2022 Performs the daily testing activities
\n\u2022 Conduct defect management by logging defects and tracking the status with developers, business and the project managers
\n\u2022 Provide input in testing feedback sessions
\n\u2022 Conducts appropriate knowledge transfer to users and Operations Support Team during this stage.
\n\u2022 Assists post-implementation testing – creating the test pack, availability and assist with execution when required.<\/p>\n
\n\u2022Relevant Qualification
\n\u2022 Good understanding of the system development life cycle
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the role of Quality Assurance and Testing within the system development life cycle
\n\u2022 Experience with software implementation projects
\n\u2022 Experience with working in project teams
\n\u2022 Knowledge of the telecoms\/communications\/broadcast industry (not mandatory, but an advantage)
\n\u2022 A commitment to service management best practice as defined by ITIL<\/p>\n
