{"id":16149,"date":"2013-12-19T05:07:17","date_gmt":"2013-12-19T03:07:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/?p=16149"},"modified":"2013-12-19T05:07:17","modified_gmt":"2013-12-19T03:07:17","slug":"senior-marketing-manager-job-opportunity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistsouthafrica.com\/senior-marketing-manager-job-opportunity.html","title":{"rendered":"Senior Marketing Manager Job Opportunity"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Main Purpose of Job<\/strong><br \/>\nAccountability to the General Manager for the effective management and delivery of business and brand results within the respective sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><br \/>\nResponsible for aligning sector strategic deployment to corporate vision and strategy.<br \/>\nDevelops local brand positioning aligned to global brand profile and ensures all activities support and build brand equity.<br \/>\nDevelops the strategic business plan for the Family Care brands in coordination with regional sector leaders (3 year plans, updated annually).<br \/>\nDevelops the annual Brand Operating Plan (including channel) and commercial programs(s) aligned to the three year strategy.<br \/>\nResponsible for Brand Operating Plan\/commercial program execution and achievement of business targets.<br \/>\nExplores, identifies and develops opportunities that broaden and strengthen the market position and profit potential of the Family care sector.<br \/>\nPartners with the Regional Sector Leaders to plan and implement Family Care innovation, commercial program ideas, and specific sector and channel initiatives. Ensures global marketing tools are implemented.<br \/>\nEnsures that KC business management and compliance standards and controls are applied across all aspects of the sector.<br \/>\nManages budgets for below-the-line spend, sales and advertising.<br \/>\nEnsures that K-CSA partners successfully with Media, Advertising, In-store and PR Agencies. This involves relationship building, negotiations and evaluation of performance.<br \/>\nSupports Commercial talent development plan, and leads for sector.\u00a0Manages a team of 2 \u2013 a senior brand manager and a junior brand manager<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Required Qualifications \/ Experience<br \/>\nThe position requires tertiary qualification (commercial base essential), a minimum of 5-8 years at a senior management level.
