Primary Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner. <\/p>\n Specific Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n HSE Management<\/p>\n Maintains HSE focus within the team to ensure OHSE requirements included in design and procurement. Maintains and builds healthy client relationships. Effectively manages assigned budgets within WorleyParsons\u2019 total scope. Compliance with WorleyParsons project management process (WPMP). <\/p>\n Time Management<\/strong><\/p>\n Contributes to the development of overall project schedule. Monitors cost aspects of the project within direct control to forecast final costs, identifies trends and takes action to avoid cost overruns. Contributes to compliance with WorleyParsons policies and procedures. Focuses team on achievement of milestones and other key project objectives. Communications Management<\/strong><\/p>\n Regularly provides clear reports to stakeholders. <\/p>\n Risk Management<\/strong><\/p>\n Monitors the mitigation of all identified risks and opportunities.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Design Management<\/strong><\/p>\n Sets clear objectives to the design team, including achieving productivity and budget targets. <\/p>\n Procurement\/Subcontracts Management<\/strong><\/p>\n Assesses procurement processes throughout the project to ensure goods meet specification, are delivered on time and are within budget.<\/p>\n Understands how the business delivers value to shareholders, what drives profitability and growth <\/p>\n Matching Indicators<\/strong><\/p>\n Relevant bachelors\/ technology degree or equivalent qualification and\/ or with a minimum of 4 years relevant industry experience in Civil structures, Asset Management, Bulk Services design or Master Planning. <\/p>\n
\nManage and coordinate infrastructure development planning activities to ensure efficient planning interventions for client development requirements.
\nAct as primary technical coordination interface with client to ensure that the client\u2019s expectations are matched to technical requirements, design, engineering and construction deliverables throughput.
\nEnsure the project conforms to the client\u2019s approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.<\/p>\n
\nAssist in developing, communicating, implementing and regularly review systems, strategies, standards and processes
\nClient Relationships<\/p>\n
\nProactively resolves performance, scope and schedule issues with the Client as they arise.
\nIdentifies, documents, communicates and meets the client\u2019s requirements
\nCommercial Management<\/p>\n
\nScope Management<\/p>\n
\nCompliance with requirements of each applicable client services contract \u2013 project charter.
\nEffective change control process application.<\/p>\n
\nSupervises work in accordance with the approved base-line schedule
\nCost Control<\/p>\n
\nQuality Management<\/p>\n
\nDemonstrate strong working knowledge of WorleyParsons engineering and procurement systems and procedures.
\nTeam Management<\/p>\n
\nSupervises project team members, including external specialists and contractors
\nCoordinates, listens to the team, discusses the issues, resolves problems and directs activities to remove roadblocks and achieve objectives.<\/p>\n
\nEffective communication with the design team and third parties.
\nAccurate, timely and effective reporting to the project sponsor.<\/p>\n
\nEnsures design team aware of, and complies with, applicable regulations and codes.
\nManages inter-discipline interfaces effectively.<\/p>\n
\nEssential Skills\/Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n
\n3 to 5 years project engineering experience on smaller projects with associated commercial and contractual experience
\nProven experience in leading a discipline design group and manage others in changing project environments
\nDemonstrate people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills. Must be able to build, motivate, develop and manage an effective team.
\nExcellent customer focus and able to consistently meet WorleyParsons and its clients\u2019 needs<\/p>\n
\nEligible for certification as Qualified Project Practitioner (Pr CPM or PMP) or Engineering Practitioner or equivalent<\/p>\n
