JOB PURPOSE
\nTo manage the internal operations and resources within the function to ensure effective service delivery aligned to strategic objectives of the division and SARS. Operational Manager is accountable for managing the day-to-day operations of a unit or team as dictated by the Tactical & Operations plan, stating very specific objectives, KPI’S (deliverables) with set targets.<\/p>\n

\nDuties<\/strong>
\nTo ensure and effective and efficient Team by managing, caoching, disciplining and developing Team Members.
\nTo ensure Team Members operate within the boundaries of applicable Legislation, Policies, procedures and accepted Practices.
\nTo keep Team Members abreast of relevant Policies and Procedures, Legislation and relevant changes and perform the necessary training.
\nTo ensure the fair distribution of work by allocating tasks according to Team Member abilities and Operational needs.
\nTo put into practice continuous improvements and shorter turnaround times which meet the needs in terms of the Service Level Agreements with Stakeholders.
\nTo ensure Performance Targets are met by implementing Performance Management.
\nTo ensure compliance within budget parameters for the Team.
\nTo resolve or manage the resolution of complex cases and make recommendations
\nTo ensure accurate drafting and provision of both standard and ad-hoc reports to Management as agreed upon and\/or when required by Business.<\/p>\n
\nGrade 12 or Equivalent NQF Qualification
\nMathematics and \/or Business Economics \/ Economics, Accounting
\nRelevant Bachelor of Commerce degree or NQF equivalent Tertiary Qualification
\nRelevant to the specific environment for eg. Accounting \/ Taxation \/ Auditing \/ Statistical Analysis<\/p>\n
