Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n The role focuses on formal training, coaching, developing, supervising and performance managing an own portfolio of financial advisers during the secondary phase of their vesting (months 9 \u2013 20 of their employ) ensuring they are retained, competent and productive as quickly as possible.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The role focuses on:<\/strong><\/p>\n Activity, productivity and performance management of financial advisers to ensure that the required controls and processes are in place for newly appointed finacial advisers to function effectively.<\/p>\n Facilitate financial advisers’ formal training & vesting by formulating a customised Training path for each financial adviser based on their prior experience\/knowledge\/skills as well as the learning outcomes following FP1<\/p>\n Perform supplementary on-the-job training with financial advisers on aspects of their function as follows:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n S.net \/ SanfinWork Systems- Investor, Sanquote, Autonub, Officequote, Linkquote, Alpha Client, Spotlight, Santax, Santrust, Maestro, etc.<\/p>\n Leads generation and utilization of the database<\/p>\n Products and Legal Technical<\/p>\n Compliance and legislative processes <\/p>\n Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n Qualification:<\/strong><\/p>\n Matric<\/p>\n CFP\/RFP3<\/p>\n Management\/Coaching Diploma<\/p>\n Knowledge and Skills:<\/p>\n IT:<\/p>\n MS: Office (Excel, Word, PP)<\/p>\n S.NET and other sales related applications\/software (i.e.: Investor, Sanquote, Officequote, Linkquote, Alpha Client, Spotlight, Santax, Santrust, Sanfin, etc)<\/p>\n Maestro<\/p>\n Microsoft Outlook<\/p>\n Business\/Management:<\/p>\n Financial Services Industry Knowledge;<\/p>\n Financial Services Product Knowledge (Sanlam and competitors)<\/p>\n Legal technical Knowledge (financial advice related & product related),<\/p>\n Financial\/Assurance products-(broad and background)<\/p>\n Management and developmental skills to manage\/coach staff<\/p>\n Budgets and expense management<\/p>\n Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge (FAIS accredited)<\/p>\n Marketing\/selling knowledge\/skills (including 6 step sales cycle)<\/p>\n Activity and performance management<\/p>\n Analyse new business trends<\/p>\n Distribution Academy training program\/courses<\/p>\n Fit and proper in terms of FAIS to perform supervision tasks<\/p>\n Extensive experience in a marketing\/sales<\/p>\n Previous management role.<\/p>\n Financial Services experience, preferably having been a FA<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n Coaching<\/p>\n Task Structuring<\/p>\n Work Standards<\/p>\n Results Driven<\/p>\n Technical knowledge<\/p>\n Communication<\/p>\n Business Acumen<\/p>\n Team Success<\/p>\n Continuous Learning<\/p>\n Decision Making<\/p>\n Treating Customers Fairly<\/p>\n
