Role Description:<\/b><\/p>\n
The Patrolperson will responsible for the application of routine security procedures within an Anglo Platinum Operation to ensure that employees and assets are protected and will also include emergency prevention duties.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n
Follow work instructions
\nEnsure proper understanding of the required actions
\nApply recognized work and security standards
\nConduct allocated patrols or checkpoint duties
\nFire prevention and fighting as first line response
\nPatrol on foot by bicycle or vehicle as applicable
\nGather information that could support risk management
\nRespond to alarms and take appropriate action
\nEnforce access controls
\nConduct Alcohol Tests with prescribed equipment as per Substance abuse policy and Site instructions.
\nSupport risk management; conducting AFRS and SHEQ related checks on vehicles entering and exiting Company premises.
\nEnsure that security tasks are completed to required quality standards
\nWhen a security issue is observed take appropriate action within procedures
\nEffectively use allocated equipment such as radios and telephones
\nIdentify and report all irregularities and incidents to Supervisor
\nEffective two way communications with team members and visitors
\nPromote security awareness by reminding team members to follow work procedures and identifying problems with work practices
\nMaintains facilities, equipment and personal image up to a high standard of presentation
\nSupport effective teamwork
\nParticipate in required meetings including safety, health, environment initiatives
\nAccurately complete role administration requirements
\nGathers information and report to Supervisor
\nTo arrest all transgressors within the ambits of the law
\nAttend disciplinary enquiries as a witness\/complainant
\nEffectively conduct tasks as armed member of CIA team.<\/p>\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n
Grade 12 certificate.
\nRegistered with the PSIRA (grade c)
\nFirst aid Certificate
\nCommunications in English (spoken ,written and reading)
\nNo criminal record and \/or other personal limitations that will prevent Fire arm competency certification<\/p>\n
Physical Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n
Certificate of fitness<\/p>\n
