Specific Outcomes \/ Core Tasks, Responsibility & Authority<\/strong><\/p>\n Financial<\/p>\n Manage total demand units for Aspen \/ GSK customers.<\/p>\n Manage monthly finished goods inventory of +\/-R 1bn.<\/p>\n Manage stock availability in Regional Distribution Centre\u2019s<\/p>\n Compile and manage Supply Chain Division budget.<\/p>\n Expenditure is controlled and reviewed against budget.<\/p>\n Provide a 24 month rolling forecast within 85% accuracy for Aspen Responsible for stock management business continuity plan. Internal\/external customer issues are dealt with in line with customer Customer feedback is communicated to relevant departments.<\/p>\n Regular feedback sessions are held with customers to ensure continual <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Supply Chain<\/strong><\/p>\n To ensure optimum integration between product \/ service value, market Ensure customer driven supply chain synchronization with real time visibility. Demand Management Manage the Forecasting business process, collaborative planning and \u201cdemand shaping\u201d.<\/p>\n Identify, analyze and communicate the drivers of demand to manufacturing Provide advanced early warnings regarding demand volatility or proactive Innovative business concepts are implemented.<\/p>\n Deadlines and target dates are measured against integrated Supply Chain Provide supply chain visibility of unconstrained demand plan with JE Responsible for maximizing Customer Service Level at lowest logical cost<\/p>\n Responsible for improving manufacturing sites service levels by means of demand stability.<\/p>\n Reduce risk of Stock Outs.<\/p>\n Responsible for effective communication with Marketing \/ Manufacturing \/ Finance.<\/p>\n Manage Deployment requirements as per company policy.<\/p>\n Prioritize and manage stock shortages.<\/p>\n Manage excess stocks.<\/p>\n Manage short-dated stock.<\/p>\n Manage replenishment deviations to Service Agreement.<\/p>\n Monitor in-transit Warehouse.<\/p>\n Manage the profiling for ABC classifications \u2013 identify Volume \/ Turnover \/ Margin per therapeutic category.<\/p>\n Manage inventory model commensurate with the ABC classification.<\/p>\n Review Service Target Levels.<\/p>\n Manage process of \u201cfair share\u201d allocation of stock for Private \/ State \/ Export.<\/p>\n Evaluate and explore strategies to reduce excess stock.<\/p>\n Review Short-dated stock with Marketing and initiate action plans.<\/p>\n Negotiate shelf extension request with Regulatory Affairs.<\/p>\n Manage the discontinued product process with factories and marketing.<\/p>\n Manage bi-annually audited stock counts of all nationally deployed finished goods inventory (June and November).<\/p>\n In liaison with NPL, manage launch process (from forecasting to launch).<\/p>\n Communication – Marketing \/ Factory \/ NPL.<\/p>\n Accelerate where possible the new product introductions.<\/p>\n Elevate any financial risk re short dated\/write off of stock.<\/p>\n Manage the transfer of ownership of stock, demand\/supply to Aspen Item Master data integrity Baan and JE.<\/p>\n Maintain company calendar and planning periods for BAAN Company 10.<\/p>\n Accuracy of Supply Chain set up in Just Enough.<\/p>\n Continuous development with software applications to improve the Supply Chain.<\/p>\n Ensure upgrades for \u201cJust Enough\u201d projects are fully implemented.<\/p>\n Ensure full buy-in, training and competency of demand management end users.<\/p>\n Provide ongoing assessment and feedback of development.<\/p>\n Learning achievements are acknowledged to improve staff performance and Team effectiveness is facilitated and assessed against standards and On the job assessment and feedback occur timeously.<\/p>\n Performance issues are accurately identified and action is instituted.<\/p>\n Potential conflict is resolved according to IR procedures.<\/p>\n Disciplinary action is taken according to the IR policy \u2013 in cases of extreme poor performance and inappropriate behaviour by staff.
